How it started/how it’s going…
Mark, Dave, Spot, and Ray have been a part of my own personal music journey since the last episode of the first season of #peteandpete in 1993. I got a bass on set the month before and was probably so annoying asking questions. The band treated me like an equal and fed my music fandom. They let me into #fez in the East Village to see Miracle Legion at 11… Mark sent me 45s, mix tapes, and post cards with tour dates from venues I would play in college and beyond like @ihegmusic. I’ve shared the stage a few times over the years. From Mark solo stuff, to Polaris gigs and Pete and Pete reunions. 6/28 @bkmadebushwick @bkmadepresents though will be the most special of all. Miracle Legion was the soundtrack to my childhood. I played The Backyard cassette on almost every audition ride into NYC. I bought Drenched on CD at least 3 times because I played it so much. Honored to have @jouncemusic open this show in our hometown of Brooklyn, NY. It’s next Friday! Grab your tix in the bio!

Less dreamy is the A-list actor in the starring role—none other than Rocco Riziero, who jilted Beatrix on New Year’s Eve back in 1999. Without his celebrity status, the project would likely still be withering on her hard drive, but that doesn’t mean Beatrix won’t shame him at every opportunity
on-set—especially when it becomes painfully obvious he doesn’t even remember her . . .

Boxed-in as a Hollywood pretty-boy, Rocco is thrilled to tackle a genuinely dramatic role. But he’s perplexed about why the screenwriter treats him like a maggot. And awkward becomes irksome when their bickering results in a car crash right outside the famed Roxy Theatre on Sunset Boulevard—site of the New Year’s Eve party where everything went wrong . . .

NJ roots run deep! A mashup of the highest order birthed from the garden state. A few texts, a couple emails, and some video chats later, a project so near and dear was born and gets catapulted into the world today. @alexfreaker and @martincourtney, you’re tops for putting this idea into the ether! @matt_kallman you could be our long lost 3rd brother lovingly referred to as, “Pete and Pete”. And @julianlynchmusic really wanted to have a marshmallow up his nose, but his ears were begging to be “Twibbed” Thanks to @realestateband and everyone in the crew for making Wellsville come alive once again. Couldn’t have made this happen without the Pete brain trust of @chrisviscardi @will_mcrobb and #michaelcmaronna. And the NJ connection continues with @edmondhawkins (Berkeley Heights prodigal son) who directed and got @thinedgefilms to produce the hell out of this video and gather a stellar crew! We even saw a few Pete alum hanging around… NJ. Fuckin’ A.
